Hobbies

Yoga and tango are part of my week.

I keep returning to both because they sharpen attention in a practical way. Yoga gives me quiet and patience. Tango gives me timing, listening, and the pleasure of moving with another person.

Yoga

Yoga gives me a quiet way to reset. It helps me slow down, notice where I am holding tension, and return to a steadier pace when work or life starts moving too fast.

Tango

Tango makes attention shared. It asks for listening, timing, and presence with another person, and it keeps me close to the joy of moving inside a form without becoming rigid.

What they give me

They keep attention practical.

Yoga brings solitude, reset, and honesty. Tango brings relationship, responsiveness, and play. Both are useful reminders that discipline works best when it leaves room for ease.

Yoga helps me notice when I am rushing, bracing, or trying to overpower a day instead of living it. It gives me a way to return to breath, alignment, and patience.

Tango gives me a different kind of attention. It is shared, responsive, and alive. It reminds me that attentive listening is physical, that timing matters, and that structure can create freedom instead of limiting it.
